Introduction of Tripod Turnstile Gate:
A tripod turnstile gate, also called a baffle gate, is a form of gate which allows one person to pass at a time. It can also be made so as to enforce one-way traffic of people, and in addition, it can restrict passage only to people who insert a coin, a ticket, a pass, or similar. Thus a turnstile can be used in the case of paid access (sometimes called a faregatewhen used for this purpose), for example public transport as a ticket barrier or a pay toilet, or to restrict access to authorized people, for example in the lobby of an office building.

Features of Tripod Turnstile Gate:
- Mechanical drive unit with solenoid locking mechanism eliminate the use of expensive electric motor and reduce maintenance cost.
- If arm rotated more than half, it will auto-rotate to the next idle position. If arm rotated less than half, it will auto-rotate back to the current idle position.
- Built in adjustable tensioner to control rotation force to minimize over rotation. Arm just need to be pushed lightly to rotate therefore even elderly or children are able to use the turnstile.
- Turnstile can be configured to be bi-directional or uni-directional. Housing is locked with special key to avoid tampering.
- Innovative and unique mounting surface ensures simple and convenient installation for system integrator.
- Can be used with variety of access control devices: IC / ID card readers, bar-code scanner, fingerprints, etc. (Access controller needed)
- Automatic reset function. Should the user fail to pass within the prescribed time (default time is 5 seconds), the system will cancel the authority of the current user automatically.
- The mechanism is equipped with an automatic regulated hydraulic buffer device. There is no noise and impact when running.
